New York Road Runners Strategic Web Design & Development
Challenge
New York Road Runners (NYRR), serving almost 1M runners of all ages and abilities annually through races, community runs, walks, training, virtual products, challenged us to promote their programs through various digital services. The overall emphasis of these promotions ranges from engagement to interactive content, lead generation for upcoming events, and tune-in to major televised events.
Solution
Implementation of highly targeted paid media campaigns, creative concepting and production, website development, and analytics integrations aligned with NYRR’s strategic objectives, including: improving NYRR’s brand equity, driving participant growth of specific events, and bringing the brand to life through creative activations.
Results
Beginning nationally in 2009 and expanding globally in 2016, Global Running Day (one of NYRR’s many initiatives) exceeded their goal of 1 million kids pledging to “get moving”. A highly engaging platform allowed: innovative parallax animations, a complex multi-phase site launch schedule, a dynamic mile pledge counter, a globally compliant experience, functional pledge form, social syndication, downloadable press kits, and a sponsor management system.
