Exporting More Than 500 Words in Google Analytics, Website Analytics | Resolute Digital

By Greg Wittmann - March 23rd, 2010

Have you ever had to export more than 500 rows in Google Analytics?

I often do when I am analyzing keywords for our paid search campaigns. I found a nifty trick to use that allows you to export up to 20,000 rows at once.

  1. Simply add '&limit=20000' to the end of the URL of the report you are in.
  2. Then, hit enter.
  3. Using the Export tab, click 'CSV' and export your data
  4. Open your exported file.

You should should see 20,000 rows in your table (plus some other stuff). Change the 20000 in the URL to something else if you do not need that many.
